Overview

We are a mountain lodge with cabins utilized as a Christian camp, open to the public between camps.  This is a destination stay with numerous activities including hiking, kayaking, fishing, sand volleyball, basketball, indoor pool, hot tub, fire pit, disc golf, and much more.  We also feature the famous Wild Horses Cafe and pizza.  

This is a studio cabin with a queen bed and 2 twin trundle beds (upon request). This is a private unit and shares a wall with a similar cabin. Aspen has a small kitchenette but does not have a full kitchen. 

Multiple rooms and cabins available.  We do rent the entire property for special events including family reunions.  Please reach out to host for pricing and availability.  

 Cabin renters are welcome to enjoy the amenities of the property and lodge during your stay. Come and enjoy our family friendly place.

We are a fun and busy place, and a great place for families and couples seeking fun activity with moments of quiet in the fresh mountain air! We have many areas for you to spend some quiet time, and lots of options on property and nearby for activities!

Quiet hours in the main lodge are from 10PM-8AM.


On property we offer: seasonal fishing at our small pond.  We keep a couple of kayaks around for a leisurely float. We have gaga ball, outdoor volleyball, indoor swimming, and more.  Amenities are not guaranteed and may require a fee/reservation. 
Kayaks, Disc Golf Gear, and Fishing Gear have a small rental fee for equipment only.

Each season, there are fun and exciting things to do around us:
*Fall: We have a large amount of Aspens that draw people to the area during their turning during the fall season. You will find many picture-taking opportunities nearly everywhere you go!
*Winter: When snow begins to come, you can enjoy our fireplace and some hot chocolate after a day of playing in the snow and sledding! We are a little over an hour away from ski towns such as Breckenridge and Monarch, so you can also enjoy coming back to a nice fire and comfortable place after a day of skiing!

-The North Pole amusement park. 
-Lake George, CO: Happy Meadow’s Campground (fun place to float the river and fish), Spinney River Reservoir (fly fishing), Eleven Mile State Park, Wilkerson Pass (amazing views).
-Cripple Creek: Casino, Railroad, Mining, and restaurants. Also a great drive to see the aspen trees turn in the fall!

-Manitou Springs: Downtown area is FULL of places to shop and eat, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Incline (quite the hike!)

Within 45 min-1 hour-
City of Colorado Springs: Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks, Glenn Eyrie Castle, The Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Bass Pro Shop and Dining, lots of places to eat and plenty to do!


1.5-2 hours- The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park (zipline, white water rafting, train ride, and more!), Mt Princeton Hot Springs, Breckenridge, Monarch (ski and outdoor fun), Noah's Ark White Water Rafting

Within 2-3 hours-
Vail, Avon, Aspen, Keystone, Cooper (family skiing), Buena Vista

You will have access to our pond for fishing and kayaking. We have a volleyball pit, gaga pit, horseshoe pit, basketball hoop, fire pit, and walking trails on property that guests have full access to! We also have an indoor pool and hot tub that are open from 8am to 10pm.

Our staff is happy to assist you.  We live and work on property,  message us and we will be with you as soon as possible!

We are in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood off of dirt roads. The neighborhood roads are maintained by the county, and the roads on property are maintained by staff. There are lots of beautiful places on property to walk, and many neighbors walk on the roads if you want to really get your steps in! Because of animals in the area, we do not recommend walking alone at dawn or dusk.

There is parking at the cabin, as well as extra parking spaces at the main lodge.

We welcome your well behaved dog in this cabin. Pets must be crated if owners are out.  Please note there is a non-refundable $45 pet fee if you are bringing your pet. Additional fees for more than one animal.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property grounds.
Pets may not come inside of the main lodge, and we ask the you please clean up after them.
There are times we have other guests on property, as we have several cabins and rooms at our lodge. We also serve as a retreat for groups, from time to time. This is a lively and fun place, with activity during the day! You are likely to hear kids laughing or cows mooing during your time here!
