We are in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood off of dirt roads. The neighborhood roads are maintained by the county, and the roads on property are maintained by staff. There are lots of beautiful places on property to walk, and many neighbors walk on the roads if you want to really get your steps in! Because of animals in the area, we do not recommend walking alone at dawn or dusk.

We have plenty of parking available at the lodge. There is no public transportation nearby.

There are times we have other guests on property, as we have several cabins and rooms at our lodge. We also serve as a retreat for groups, from time to time. This is a lively and fun place, with activity during the day! You are likely to hear kids laughing or cows mooing during your time here!

May 2023

We stumbled onto this lodge by accident. However, it was a great find. The hosts are very friendly, the scenery and location are amazing, and the pool and amenities kept the kids entertained. Lovely people hosting a neat place. We will go back:)

June 2023

We loved our stay! It was quiet, clean, and enjoyable. Everyone we very friendly. The pool was nice. It made a great base for us to explore the area, taking in Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, etc. Woodland Park is close and is a fun town with most everything you could need. Colorado Springs isn't far. I think our favorite part was the quiet environment. The area it is located in felt safe and quiet as well. It felt safe to leave our sliding door open and enjoy the cool mountain air. On the negative side, some of the main building isn't super up to date, with some worn carpet and such. That wasn't a big deal to us. Another negative were the beds. We had one sofa bed in our room which was terribly uncomfortable, as sofa beds tend to be. Also, the queen bed in our room was pretty uncomfortable. We would definitely stay again.

July 2023

Unique mountain setting with fun activities for the whole family.
