This spacious family home is nestled in the tall trees outside the quaint town of Monument and is perfect for a large family or group.  This convenient location is near the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and convenient to both Colorado Springs and Denver.  Nearby lakes, hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, and art galleries provide many activities and sight seeing during your stay.

The home features 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with several gathering spaces for guests to spread out.   The main level features a grand open foyer that overlooks one of the many living areas that connects to the bright formal dining area that seats 10.  The spacious open kitchen entices family members to prepare, cook, and eat together in the well equipped kitchen with multiple areas to sit including a bar and eat-in breakfast areas.  Another family room is connected to the kitchen with a gas fireplace and cozy sitting areas to curl up and enjoy a good book or socialize.   A powder room is centrally located on this floor along with a full laundry with washer/dryer, sink, countertops, and storage.  The breakfast nook/kitchen area leads out to the oversized deck with a large sectional couch and barbecue grill to enjoy the great outdoors and the gorgeous Colorado weather.  

Taking the grand staircase up to the second floor you will feel pampered in this well-appointed master suite.  It features a king size bed, a sitting area, large television, and a bathroom fit for royalty.  Soak in the oversized tub while enjoying the view.  This ensuite also has a double vanity and a large walk-in shower, and full walk-in closet.   This level also features a dedicated office with desk, printer, large bookcase, and futon/sofa bed and a air mattress for an additional sleeping area.  There are two additional bedrooms that include full size beds equipped with their own televisions.  

The lower level has another bedroom with a queen bed and sitting area.  The 6th bedroom is also located on this floor with two single beds with easy access to the full bathroom.

Everyone will love spending time in the spacious game room to watch movies, play pool, video games, or enjoy a soak in the 4 person hot tub on the covered patio.   The bar area seats 4 and features a wine refrigerator, ice maker, and plenty of shelving to stock the bar. (air hockey table is no longer available)

Guess will be provided a personalized access code.  Code will only work for the duration of their stay.

Occasionally we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks that may be left behind from other guests. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

We allow our guest privacy during their stay but are available if needed.

Neighborhood features great views and places to walk.   Downtown old town Monument is just minutes away with its quaint shops and art galleries.  

Fox Run Regional park offers extensive hiking, two small ponds, playgrounds, a volleyball court, and picnic areas.

Monument Lake is a beautiful spot to take in the mountain views, do some fishing, paddleboarding, or hiking.

Palmer Lake is few miles away that also offers fishing and paddleboarding with trails around the lake.  The town of Palmer Lake is a another quaint town with several restaurant options.

The 14-mile portion of the trail follows the abandoned Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way. The gravel surface regional trail generally follows a straight and level course for the first 6.5 miles beginning at Palmer Lake

Monument Rock is a popular 2.7 mile hike offering some stellar views.

Garden of the Gods is a must see and is located less than 30 minutes away.  This free to the public rock formations and nature center is a top pick for all of Colorado Springs area.

Pike's Peak (America's Mountain) is only 38 minutes away.  Travel via the Cog Train out of Manitou Springs or drive up this 14er via Pike's Peak Highway.

For your heath and safety a professional spa technician will perform weekly maintenance on the hot tub.  We will make every effort to notify you before technician arrives if possible.  Technician will only need access to the hot tub area.

Early check ins/Late checkouts may be available.  Please be advised there is a fee of $50 per hour for both early check ins and late check outs.  Requests must be approved and paid in advance and are not always available due to time restraints.

Violation of pet or smoking (inside) policy $300 minimum deep cleaning
Guests that fail to vacate the property at the designated checkout (initial 10 minute grace period) will be subject to a fee of $75 for every half hour increment.
Please complete a walkthrough of the house/property before departure to ensure no valuables are left behind. Be advised we are not responsible for any items/valuables misplaced or left behind.  There is a $20 fee to ship items in addition to cost of shipping.
